Requirements:

- Relevant tax law or accounting qualification.

- At least 5 years' corporate tax experience

- A thorough understanding of the principles of taxation in Kazakhstan.

- An understanding of the principles of taxation in other CIS countries.

- An understanding of the principles of international taxation.

- An understanding of the Group corporate structure and its rationale.

- An understanding of the EP cost-sharing system and its rationale.

- An understanding of tax accounting under FAS 109.

- Familiarity with the tax implications of acquisitions and divestments.

- Familiarity with the EP business (EP life cycle, joint ventures, assets, contracts)

- Ability to communicate effectively.

- Russian language skills desirable, but not essential
