You know I can not find the reason why the Law firm is searching specialist in banking and finance. Can you shortly describe the functions and duties for the future candidate?

Hiya! Though I have nothing to do with the firm and the recruiter, I think I can clarify the issue. Senior Banking Lawyer means a highly qualified lawyer specialising in banking and finance transactions. However, the salary rate is quite low for this type of specialists given the growing importance of the field and complexity of the regulations to deal with. Moreover, I cannot understand the requirement of having experience in litigation? Banking and finance lawyer usually deal with substantial law, they can solve the dispute in all material aspects and give proper instructions to litigation specialists unless the Top Law Firm has very small number of lawyers.
